Tsinghua University's global private equity research institute (private private research institute, English name Institute for Global Private Equity, Tsinghua University, and Tsinghua PE) is the school level Research Institute of Tsinghua University, relying on the Tsinghua University School of economics, and the Tsinghua University law school and the Academy of Social Sciences Co construction.

The Institute will give full play to the advantages of Tsinghua University as a multi-disciplinary comprehensive university, work creatively, provide intellectual support for national policy formulation, lead the academic development and talent training in private equity areas, establish a win-win cooperation platform for global private equity resources development, and contribute to the private equity industry in China. Development.

The main tasks of the Institute are:

(1) to carry out research on the theory, policy and practice of private equity, and to publish research reports on a regular basis, provide the basis for the policy and supervision of the national private equity fund, and play the role of the government think tank.

(two) based on the study of the domestic and foreign private equity industry, the establishment of an industry evaluation system to promote the healthy development of the private equity industry;

(three) promote the discipline construction of private equity, carry out academic research in the field of private equity, and set up a new project for specialized personnel training.

(four) provide policy advice based on the needs of the private equity industry;

(five) actively carry out exchanges and cooperation with well-known private equity investment institutions at home and abroad, and build a high-level platform for dialogue, exchange and cooperation.

(six) publish relevant industrial reports, academic papers, publish relevant works, and promote research results.

The Institute has a management committee, the president under the leadership of the management committee, the appointment of members of the Advisory Committee, the establishment of an academic committee and a number of work departments. As the highest decision-making body, the management committee is responsible for formulating and revising the articles of association of the Institute, determining the strategic direction of the development of the Institute and directing and supervising the work of the Institute. The Advisory Committee, with the leadership of the relevant government departments, well-known scholars and the elite of the industry, provides guidance and consultation for the strategic orientation and development direction of the Institute and advising the Institute to improve the influence of the Institute. The academic committee, as the academic guidance institution of the Institute, is held by senior experts in the field of private equity at home and abroad, to grasp the academic research direction of the Institute and to promote the development of the subject and the training of talents.
